How many times a day do you need to change your nipple pads?

I'm due this month and want to stock up the avoid any unnecessary trips.  I know that everyone is different but about how many times do you need to change them a day when you're first starting out? -TIA!!

    I changed one at every feeding. DS only took one side at a time, and the other side leaked like crazy while he was eating.

    I change them in the morning and then in the evening. I haven't really noticed too much leaking on the actual pad but do notice wet spots on my clothes if I don't wear them.

    in the beginning at least every feeding if not more....it seemed like for ever that I would leek the other side while my LO was nursing

    The reusable ones I would have to change a few times a day or I would leak through them.  The disposable ones I only have to change once a day.

    I'm more of a once a day person. In the early weeks maybe twice a day. I really only leak while nursing and sometimes after a warm shower. I'd bought one box of disposable pads before giving birth and that lasted me long enough until I went shopping with DH for more.

    once or twice a day.  I started off with 2 boxes I think.  I wouldn't stock up too much in case whatever brand you try you don't like.  Unless you see a really good sale!  When I was still pregnant, Walgreens had Evenflo (the brand I have come to like the best) for 99 cents a box!  I wish I had stocked up then but I only bought 1 box!!  Hindsight is 20/20 lol

    I leaked quite a bit in the beginning, but now I just wear one set a day at work.  I don't leak anymore during the day, but wear them just in case.  I wouldn't stock up too much, you don't know for sure which ones you will prefer.

    Usually I change twice a day. I use cotton reusable ones and I have 9 pairs.
