Neocate/Elecare kids?

Anyone else either entirely or partially on an elemental diet?  Any great tips on what to do with Neocate/Elecare to try to help preserve feeding skills?  Aidan is 16m old with no safe foods, so we're trying to do as much as we can with what we have - but how much can you really do?  He still takes bottles (refuses formula in a sippy/straw cup), but we also offer Neocate ice cubes in a mesh feeder and Neocate snow cones by spoon.

    This! I was going to say frozen, but you're already doing that! Maybe just keep trying different sippy/straw cups or you could just use a regular cup and help him drink from it so that he doesn't get too much/spill it everywhere!

    My son is on elecare, and thankfully we have worked up to 8 safe foods, but he also eats neocate nutra.  It's a powder that mixes with water to make a solid food. It is wonderful because it is an elemental food but it is the consistency of a pur?e. Our gi gave us a sample, and I called the company and asked for a sample. You can go to the neocate website and order it too.
