I will be 30 weeks tomorrow and am up 24 lbs...this is with exercising 5 days a week, watching my food intake, and counting protein/calories....oh well. I can't do much more than that!
If it helps you, try measuring things. I have been measuring my hips, thighs, and arms since the beginning, and have only gained about 1/2 an inch on my hips and thighs -- so that makes me feel better and realize that it really is baby weight!

At my appt a few days ago (at 32w5d), I was up 25 lbs. Like PP said, it depends on where it goes. I don't necessarily eat great, but I also haven't over-indulged at all. I exercise about twice a week- so that could be better, but whatever. So even though I hate seeing the scale every 2 weeks, not TOO much I can do at this point.

I have gained 17 pounds. I think I am more hungry than I have ever been in the last week. My OB said I should gain about 1 pound a week until I deliver. I know when I was pregnant with my son that I had a harder time eating the last few weeks but still ended up gaining about a pound a week until I delivered at 41 weeks.
At my appointment Tues I had only gained about 12 total and had gained nothing since my last visit 2 weeks prior. She asked if I had been vomiting or had any nausea, told her no. She wasn't too concerned after I said I feel like I eat all the time though and what types of foods I snack on.
I'm up 30 at 32 weeks. I was only supposed to gain 25 the whole pregnancy. Oops. I don't eat great, but I do walk a lot. I'm hoping breastfeeding really does work to get the weight off afterwards. If not, I'll probably take a more proactive approach to dieting/exercising 4-6 months post-partum.
I think I'm at about 35 pounds right now. I eat like crap. I'm on my second box of Hostess cupcakes for the week. Whatev. I think it also depends on where you came from-doctor isn't worried, I look larger but am still a smaller frame/build, etc. I'll tell you what, though-when this baby is born, I can't WAIT to start dropping the weight. My brain is already thinking of healthy veggie dishes and exercise routines. I figure I have about 7 weeks left to indulge, and then it's back to pre-baby body for me!!
I'm at 34 weeks, 20 pounds up. At 32 I was 18 pounds up. Looks like I'll come close to my 25 lb goal if I gain about a pound a week... I'll end up weighing 10 lbs. less at this delivery than at my daughter's, I'm glad for that.
Married in 2008 - DD born in 2010 - EDD 6.15.2012!
I am currently still 4 lbs under my pre-pregnancy weight ... but that has a lot to do with the fact that I am still experiencing horrible morning sickness.
Holy moly... I'm only at 27 weeks and I'm up 40. The real kicker is that I don't eat more than normal, I don't eat garbage (I do really like nerds and cheese though) , and I do a lot of walking... My Dr. isn't concerned (probably because I start every appt. by addressing my weight gain), he said some women are just gainers and as I was very healthy (and slim, those were the days) when this bruhahah began. He said it probably wouldn't make a difference if I began doing anything else... Your body will do what it feels it needs to do to create your new little friend.
I am still less than comfortable with the weight gain...Sure a little has been in my upper arms (loathe), my boobs are disgustingly huge (and saggy) at this point, but the rest is all belly. I look like one of those life guard stands on the beach...Skinny stilty legs holding up a house.
At my 32 week appt, I was up 31lbs. I didn't look at the scale but I had a different dr that day and he made a point to say "You've gained 31lbs so you probably don't need to gain anymore." I was a little bummed to say the least because of course I took that to mean "DON'T GAIN ANYMORE." All of my dr appt's are after 5pm which adds 2-3lbs, in my opinion. I hadn't been eating the greatest but I do walk an hour a day, since that appt I've tried to eat less so we'll see what the scale says on Wednesday...
I just weighed myself this morning and have gained 30 lbs and im only 32 weeks! My Midwife gave me a weight gain of only 15-20 lbs due to my BMI which i didnt think was fair because i have always been very thin everywhere except my hips and butt which is mostly muscle. everyone keeps saying im all baby but looking at the scale still hurts.
At that point in pregnancy, I was +10lbs. I think I'll finish this pregnancy about +15 lbs, which is less than the guidelines for a normal weight woman, but baby is healthy and doc is happy.
As of last week, when I was 35 weeks, I had only gained 14 pounds. Still able to wear my maternity clothes I had bought this spring, so most has gone to belly. I was overweight going into this, so I'm pretty pleased!
