ovulation cramping but no LH SURGE?

happen to anyone else? 

I don't get it I've been doing the ovulation tests every day since my last pd ended and here we are the week I should be ovulating and the last few days I've had right side ovary cramping yet no positive LH surge!

any guesses why? I mean I would think the cramping is a great sign SOMETHINGS going on right? 

June 2009- Begin TTC November 2011- Laparoscopy to check for endometriosis (normal) HSG to check for clear tubes -(Normal) and hysteroscopy to check uterus (normal) April 2012- AMH checked- (5.8) thyroid and prolactin= normal....internal ultrasound- thin uterin lining indicating issues with ovulation April 2012- Semen Analysis- sperm count of 8

     I don't get ovulation cramping, but was wondering if you are testing at least 2 times a day?

    I tend to ovulate different day every month. I hope you get your positive soon :)

    yep im testing in the morning and afternoon!

    Give it a few more days. Sometimes the pain comes before the surge.

    Agreed with Maggie, plus the emotional stress from dh's issues may throw things off a few days!

    Any chance you're on fertility meds? I know for me, I don't get a +opk if I'm taking Clomid or injections...weird! 

    If you're not on any meds, my only thought is that you had a short surge and you missed it or it hasn't happened yet.

    nope no meds for me! and your right maybe the stress of dh's new dx is delaying it idk....i got a positive ovulation test this morning but i did it with first morning urine without thinking so I'm gonna test again and see what it says ..i mean the doc told me not to even worry about my ovulating but no point in just stop trying just cause dh's counts are low...miracles happen everyday right?...this is my attempt at a positive attitude i guess lol

    I've read that the twinges and cramping that women usually associate with ovulation can also just be your follicles growing and getting ready.  So... chances are good that your surge is coming soon (if not already here!).  I know I've been twinging and feeling O pain the last week, and I just got my positive OPK today.  I hope yours is coming soon, too!
