longer stretches of sleep and bottles?

refresh my memory:  once your LO starts sleeping for longer stretches, do you increase the amount that they are getting during the day to make up for missed night feedings...either extra bottles, or more in the bottles?

I follow hunger cues... if DS is hungry, he eats... (he is STTN 7-4am currently)

  • I EBFed and my pedi said P would naturally take more at daytime feedings to make up for it. Maybe if DS seems like she could have a bit more after finishing her normal bottle then give her a couple more ounces. But if she seems satisfied with what she is taking then I wouldn't worry. Yay for STTN!!!
