belly sleeper with a leaky diaper

For the past week, my little one has become quite the  belly sleeper. No matter how she falls asleep, without fail, in minutes she rolls onto her belly. The first night I kept flipping her over and she kept rolling back.

Anyways, in 5 months, she has never leaked through at night but now 5 nights in a row, she's been going through and wakes up screaming because of it and rightfully so. I know it's because of the belly sleeping and that's why her pee-pee (sorry but urine sounds too formal) is leaking out from the top and making her belly wet.

Any suggestions on how to keep her dry?

    DS is a tummy sleeper and will have a leak if I don't fasten the tapes snug enough. Is she close to wearing the next size diaper? It sounds like the one she is wearing isn't absorbent enough.

    My best friend had this same issue. She was trying to get through the last of her too-small size diapers and he would always end up waking up in the morning soaked. She finally moved him up to the next size and they haven't had a wet morning since.

    yeah, I'd go up a size too.  DD almost always wears a size up at night just because she's in them for so long.  She's still comfortably in 2s during the day but I just moved her to 3s at night (she's also sleeping on her tummy, which is new, and the front of her diaper is HUGE in the morning!)

    In addition to going up a size, you could try overnight diapers. We CD during the day, but DS is a super heavy wetter at night and so far only Huggies Overnights can contain his pee. (He also ALWAYS poops overnight - a lot - and they contain that until morning too!)
