After 3 mc over the past 2 years, we were told our next step was a fertility specialist. she immediately ordered BW the first visit, and when the results came back, I was diagnosed with PCOS and MTHFR mutuation. Alot to take in. We were put on clomid for the first round but it was unsuccessful, and i just started my first round of letrozole today. We have an appt with our dr. next friday, which i am excited about, but for some reason I'm just extra emotional today. Im just overwhelmed by living my life on a time line, always waiting for the next appt, BW results, days to start and end fertility treatments, and so on.... I know I should be so thankful that at least im getting answers and we're able to have some hope of getting pregnant after our past 3 losses, but Im just so emotional about all of this. The combination of the PCOS and MTHFR mutuation sometimes make me feel like it may be impossible to have a baby of our own. And to make matters harder to handle, my cousin just had her baby a few days ago, my 2 sister in laws are both expecting any day now, and another cousin is about 15 weeks along. Its so hard to be surrounded by pregnant women and babies, and not feel jealous that i may not get that opportunity. i would love to hear of anyone who may be in a similar situation or has been, and had a successful pregnancy.

Thank you for the encouragement! Its always nice to hear from other women that are going through, or have been through similar situations, and miscarriages. Im very sorry to hear about your losses as well. Its not easy to go through.
My Dr. also has me on a Rx folic acid/B vitamin thats about 2-3 times higher than in a prenatal, a baby aspirin a day, as well as 200mg of progesterone 10 days out of every cycle. We've decided to at least give this Dr. a fair shot at what she thinks will work and go from there. We do have another possible Dr in mind just in case we do decide to get another opinion, but we'll give this one some time before we jump the gun out of impatience!
Good luck to you as well in your journey. Its rough, but will be well worth it in the end.
