While I was out for lunch I stopped by the DG to pick up some $1 tests. When I asked the clerk to please get me 7 tests, she repeated "7 as in S-E-V-E-N" I say "yes, S-E-V-E-N". Then she proceeds to ask me what I'm going to do with all 7 of them...I simply looked at her straight faced and said I'm going to pee on them, now can I please just have them? Needless to say, she bagged them up, wished me luck and told me to have a nice day...lol.
On the upside (if there is one), my trigger is out of my system.
Re: Yes, I'm sure I want 7 hpt's......
Why do people think any of this is their business whatsoever?
I like your answer, though-- much classier than my thought for a response, "I'm going to meet up with your dad so that he can be there when I and his other 6 whores test ourselves to see if he impregnated us."
I'm glad your trigger is out of your system-- that's good testing news.

Crazy. I've found if I want to avoid questions and stop conversations flat out, I just start talking about my infertility. It usually shuts random strangers right up.
After my IUI, I was instructed to take only Tylenol if I had pain. The Walgreen's clerk kept pushing their generic (Advil, I think it was), because it was on some sort of special. Why do they think our purchases are any of their business?

LMAO!!!! you crack me up!!!
After my last Walgreen?s cashier experience I decided I will just order a bunch online from now on. She picked up the box and studied it and then shouted out ?how exciting? for everyone to hear. I must have shot her a dirty look and not realized it because she changed her tone really quickly and said ?I hope you get the result that you are hoping for ? whatever that may be? as she handed me my change. As if I wasn?t feeling enough pressure from eager friends & family as it was, now I had to worry about letting the Walgreen?s Lady down too!!! Now I feel like I can?t buy tampons there or she might start to cry. And what if I wasn?t in TTC mode? Not everyone is peeing on a stick and hoping for the same results we are. Early-Pregnancy-Tests.com is my new friend!
My brother and his gf stayed with me at Christmas. He used to stay with me for weeks at a time so he did not think anything of getting something out from under my bathroom sink. He was tramatized when 8 boxes of different types of HPTs fell out on the floor. He did not say anything to me but asked my mom (who was there for the day) to help him figure out how to put them all back so I would not notice.
I was just glad that they all knew about my IUI. Now that I know what all the whispering was about I find it hilarious. Neither one of them cound understand why I needed 3 of each brand.
Same here!
