So this morning at about 5:15 I woke up with a) a 12 pound cat snoring on the pillow next to me, b) a gas bubble the size of said cat in my belly, and c) dull, steady pain in my back and a tight abdomen. I kicked out the cat, took some Gas-X and water, and laid back down. For the next hour and a half, I had pretty regular contractions, though none were really painful. I could feel (and do still) LO moving around, and I have had no leaking, so I'm chalking it up to possible minor dehydration and over activity.
Any other second time+ moms having more intense Braxton Hicks this time? I was almost to the point of calling the on-call nurse, but I'm hoping lots of water and staying off my feet will help.

Yes!!! I didn't feel BH with DS, and if I did...I didn't realize that's what they were.
This LO gives me some back contractions every so often. Painful, sometimes. But never consistent. But I feel ya....

Exactly me too! They make my belly sore too. Thank Goodness they only last a few seconds.
