So this may be a little TMI, but FINALLY after 9 weeks of being nauseated & wishing I could just throwup...it happened!! Something in my body just had enough & oh, such sweet reliefe!! My only problem is I had just eaten breakfast, along with taking my prenatal vitamin. Should I take it again or should I leave it as is??
Re: Finally...success!!
To answer your question No there is no need to take another pill. Missing a day is fine and that's only IF it didn't dissolve.
If it continues to bother you after you changed the time of day and you throw them up every time then you should try a different brand.
GL!
ETA...also I got this info from my Doc. when I was pregnant with my DS and seriously ill.
I wish I could just have a bit of relief, but I have yet gotten to the point where my body wants it. The dry heaving is frustrating and the nausea is beyond annoying.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if it was the PNV itself that made you finally throw up. The only time I threw up in my entire pregnancy with DS was when I took my PNV too late at night and hadn't eaten in more than 5 hours, and also when I had a stomach bug. Even once when I wasn't pg I took it on a nearly empty stomach and it made me nauseous.

Glad I didn't re-take! Thanks yall!! I have felt fine all day too since I threw up!! I usually take my PNV with a glass of milk along with my breakfast in the morning, so it has something to sit on & it also helps me to eat breakfast at home instead of drive-thru. This morning though, we were out of milk..so nothing really for it to land on. I don't know why I thought I could take it on a fairly empty stomach. I guess that's pregnancy brain for ya?!
