I think we are supposed to go to the mountains in NC in July. My parents are renting a place and want us to come up. Other than that we don't have anything big planned.
I am taking Jack to my old summer camp for a reunion in June. Can't wait but I am a little nervous about flying with him alone. He is so mobile and pretty much hates being "stuck" anywhere.
V and I are going to visit my family in Minnesota for a week in June.
The 3 of us are going to go to Denver for a week in August. I'm pretty excited. Every other time I've been to CO it's been too short a trip. I'm glad that we will have some time to actually hang out and explore.
We've gone in the Outerbanks, NC for the past two years with extended family, but due to a family wedding and other family stuff that conflicts, the four of us are headed to Cape Cod instead. I will miss OBX....well, everything but the 13 hour drive that is.

I hope this isn't bad of me to say, but I'm going on a writers' residency all by myself for a whole week in June! I'm so excited and thrilled that my college is paying for me to do this. It will be the longest I've ever been away from Liam, but it's at Kenyon College, which was voted the most beautiful campus in the country, and I'll be working with a poet I really admire.
As far as a "family" vacation, I'm off of teaching for over a month, and Jared's a mostly SAHD, so it's like we get a super-long "stay"-cation. We also can't really afford travel unless my work is paying for it
We're thinking of trying to go to the coast or something next summer when Liam's old enough to remember it.
With our addition getting completed, needing a new bigger vehicle, and of course a new LO arriving we don't have anything big planned, Probably a day trip to Niagara Falls and freebie festivals is all we will be doing.
EDIT: we were planning a trip to visit my family in Florida but will do that next year for sure.
We're making our annual trip back east to visit family in July but we don't really think of that as vacation
We've never done just a family vacation since we had the kids so we're renting a condo in Clearwater FL for a week in Sept. On the beach, pool, our own kitchen, can't wait.

We are going to Sweden the first two weeks of July. I am excited, and nervous about flying and the time change.
I think we will visit my sis & family in VT over Memorial Day but I haven't 100% decided. It's a long drive!
