Irish baby name pronunciation

I just read a post from yesterday asking how to pronounce "Saoirse" (SEER-sha) which is actually my daughter's name. I saw that some of you were interested in Irish names, so here is a great website that has the meaning and actual audio pronunciations of many Irish names:

There is another good one with audio that I used when looking for a name for my new baby, but I can't find it now. FWIW, if it's a girl her name will be Aine (AWN-ye) because it's the only other Irish girl's name I like.

    Thanks for the link!  I love Irish names.  I'm surprised that Aine is the only other girl name you like; there are so many great ones!  Mairead is my personal favourite.

    We used that site to make sure we pronounced our DD#2 name right since my family connections to Ireland are now lost. We chickened out on the Gaelic spelling of her name though (Aibhlinn) but sometimes wish we didn't! With DD#1 it was easier since the pronunciation is the same either way. I love Aoife and Anwen! I have an unintentional thing for 'A' names...
    My 2 girls, both born on a Friday the 13th, are exactly 2 years, 2 months, 2 hours and 2 minutes apart! And Baby Boy joined us October 11, 2013! image
