TTC after 35

MH's SA is today... I'm nervous

In 1 hour, MH is going to leave his field work site to come home to "get ready" for his SA appointment at 2:15. We only live about 5 minutes tops from the lab, so we're going to be bringing in his swimmers from home.

I'm a little nervous. This is not anything in my realm of prior experience. I mean, it's not a big cup-- if men cannot accurately pee in a toilet, why would I think that cup stands a chance?

Okay, mostly I'm just nervous that this is going to be awkward. Definitely not romantic, of course, but I'm just hoping it's not awkward. Especially the transport and delivery...

Thank goodness MH doesn't have my crazy hang-ups. He just goes with the flow...

  • lol, it is NOT romantic by any notion of the word and can be slightly awkward, my BF used to have me get him "started" and then he would just finish, now....he just preferes to be alone, actually he will ask me to leave the room and he will bring out his swimmers when hes done. But try to have fun...lol. and keep them in your cleavage on the trip to the lab to keep them nice and warm! good luck ;)

  • Good luck!  Don't worry, for some reason they can make the cup even though it is way smaller than a toilet.

OMG I had the same question for DH, he just gave me a look.. apparently they don't have problems getting it into the cup. GL, there's no two ways about it, its ackward, but for some reason most men are so proud of themselves after. i've chosen to just go with it and give DH a big pat on the back..

I'm all about the humour-- I look so much better after laughing than I do crying.

So. The boys have been dropped off at the pool for their swim test. We should hear something by tomorrow afternoon... At least it's not a 2ww for these test results-- I'd go nuts otherwise.

  • Wanted to say good luck. Keep us posted on the results. My husband has done this so many times I was starting to believe that he might be enjoying this a bit too much! The last few times he just decided to take care of business at the RE office. He prefers their "reading" material is what he told me.

Would you believe that the Women's Specialty Center (where we dropped off the sample) does not provide reading material??
