Baby #3 will be here in 19 days. I have a 2yo and a 11yo. How should I arrange the car seats? Should the baby go in the middle and 2yo outboard? My 11yo still sits in the back as well.
I personally would do baby on the passenger side, toddler on driver's side and 11 yo in the middle. That way, if baby needs something during a car ride the 11 yo can help out some.
I see the reasoning behind 11 yo in the middle BUT they are not going to want to climb over the car seat of the 2 yo OR the base for the infant seat. I would put infant in middle because while it will be a pain to get the seat out from the base while in the middle more than likely the 11 yo is not in a car seat and the path would be clear to get to the seat. Also if the toddler was in the middle if they drop something on the baby or the baby needs something the 11 yo would not be able to reach over from the other side but they would if the baby was in the middle.
My kids are ages 13,12,7, 14 months. I have a van, but we only use it on weekends when the whole family is in the car. The rest of the time my 14 month old sits behind the driver seat. 12 year old in the middle he is pretty small still so this works for now. 7 year old who is still in a booster sits on the passenger side. 13 year old sits up front, she is at an adult height and weight.

I would do the toddler in the passanger seat, bucket seat in the middle and 11 yr old behind the driver. Here is why.
Toddler still needs help buckling up so needs to be on the side for ease of buckles. If your toddler is still RF those seats typically fit better behind the passanger. Infant in bucket seat just needs to be handed in and snapped down, requires little actual work in the car. My 11 yr old had a hard time trying to climb around seats to get to the middle. Even with just the bucket seat base, it makes for a PITA when trying to get to that middle seat. Plus my 11 yr old had no problems reaching over the bucket seat to deal with whoever is in the passanger seat.
Is the 2 yo ffing or rfing? What kind of vehicle do you have? What carseats do you have?
2yo is ffing, Aspen(SUV), Sunshine Radian (now Diono) & Graco snugride. We have a 3rd row as well so I'm thinking putting the younger ones closer together and 11yo on the outside to allow access to the 3rd row if needed.

A Frog, A Monkey and a Ladybug
All of this and does your middle seat have a lap and shoulder belt or just a lap belt? If it's just a lap belt, the 11yo can't go there.
