Contractions all night/extreme pain .. then gone!

So, since Sunday evening, I have had BH's on and off, on and off, on and off. Irregular so nothing to get a good read on. I'm NOT a FTM but this didn't happen with DD#1. I got contractions with her, they were 4 minutes apart, knew it was time to go to the hopsital. That's it.

Last night. I was up allll night long actually crying. The contractions were so strong that I couldn't breathe, I had to stop doing whatever I was trying to do and try to breathe. Then, on top of that .. SORRY FOR THE TMI RIGHT NOW .. but I had diarrhea. Now, I go #2 every day (trying to tone it down there for the TMI lol) always have lol but this was not normal. I threw up from the contraction pains. They lasted all night until 7am this morning and now, pretty much nothing. OH! And for the last week my lady bits have been really sore!! If I sit for too long, it hurts to get up and walk.

What in the h*ll is going on here?! Anyone, anyone???

    It is very common for second + timers to have prodromal labor which is what it sounds like you are experiencing. I was also up last night with contractions. It is basically the body reving up the engine. This is the reason why subsequent labors last much shorter then first labors. All the work that you did last night is that much less work you will have to do during the main event. It sounds like your body is very close! Good luck.  Your baby will be here soon.

    Sure sounds like you are getting closer. Sorry you had a rough night, but hopefully your LO will be here soon!

    Thanks ladies! I thought I was dying inside lol I'm still in a substantial amount of pain again, off and on all day. This is no fun lol

    Sounds like what I've been going though too I'll have a day and night of awful pain then a day or two thats not so bad and then another bad day. The joys of motherhood.
