While I am TTC, I am using mostly organic/natural products (paraben, SLS free) and the Belli facial wash is fantastic! It has kind of a citrus smell and it makes your skin feel very clean. I tried Burts Bees for a while, but it still made my skin feel oily. If you are looking for a good facial lotion, try the Weleda brand. It is pretty expensive but really safe! It's a small bottle but it goes a long way. Hope that helped!

Before pregnancy I used a prescription benzole peroxide (sp?) wash but switched to cetaphil after I got my BFP. I like it, it is light and does a good job removing make-up, etc... I don't think it is as good for acne/spots but my face looks pretty good.
I just started using Belli Skincare, it's made to be safe for preganant women. I'm really pleased with it so far. You have to order online, belliskincare.com. I have the scrub, the face wash and the spot treatment. I didn't ask my ob about it, but I asked my derm, who knows I'm pregnant, and she said it's good stuff.

I don't use anything fancy, just the L'Oreal Cream Deep cleanser and I really love it. My skin is pretty wacko and sensitive and it works really well for me.
I've been using The Spoiled Mama glow pregnancy set with their toner. It isn't very heavy and no crazy smells. It seems to be working. I still get breakouts but I'm also very acne prone so without being able to use sacyclic acid, I don't expect a miracle worker.
I stumbled upon Belli Face wash this week and ordered it for my back. I figure if it works miracles on my back which right now is the biggest problem for me, then I'll switch it to my face as well but I already but the stuff I mentioned above. Let's face it, nothing is cheap so I plan to use it all up first! haha
I went to a dermatologist a couple years ago for a case of dermatitis. I had some red bumps on my cheeks and around my mouth. She recommended plain Dove bar soap, so I switched from the Mary Kay products I was using.. and lo and behold, it really helped! I was afraid it would dry me out, but it didn't. I do use a dab of Olay moisturizer at night and exfoliate from time to time, but that's it.
I love Cetaphil. I use it in the morning and at night. I use original Dove bar soap to take my makeup off at night and then slather the Cetaphil on and let it sit while I brush my teeth and then rinse it off. I use the Cetaphil lotion at night because it is thicker and I love it. During the day I use a vitamin E face lotion that is light and perfect for under makeup. Hope this helps!
Re: suggestions for a safe facial cleanser?
