Today at 4yo preschool pickup, the teacher takes all is parents aside to explain that the whole class was behaving terrible today. The class got kicked out of music early bc they were so bad. Basically not listening, being silly and disrespecting the music teacher. Talking to DS on the ride home he admitted that he was one of the boys misbehaving. (I figured he was bc that is exactly how he has been acting at home lately)
So what do I do for discipline? I've already talked about it with him, taken away his snacks for the day and cancelled our afternoon playgroup. He also has to write a sorry note to both teachers. We are constantly having talks with him about listening to mom and dad, multiple times a day. We do have a new baby at home and spring fever is here and he is 4. Is this "typical"? He is not normally getting in trouble.
Re: Oh boy, DS got in trouble at school
can you set up some incentives for behaving well?
Like do a reward chart kind of thing for listening at school every day?
