Help me keep my kid entertained for the night

I'll be picking him up from DC shortly, hubs is working afternoons & won't be home til after 10.

I don't know what to do but i'd like to do something fun. We've watched movies, finger painted, played cars the past few days. Was hoping to take him somewhere for an hour or two before dinner

Hubs said the mall (they have fruit kids play on...) so maybe that

Is it warm where you live? It is hot as hell here so I'm letting DD go for a dip in her kiddie pool this evening.

The park idea is good too. Also..bubbles.

I love taking the boys to the mall play area on rainy days. Definitely do that : )
