We found out at 2 weeks old that DS is intolerant/allergic to dairy. We did a trial over Easter to see if he could handle it baked in, but its still a no-go.
I think there may be a sensitivity to dairy, but I'm not sure. DS has eczema, which the pedi said could be triggered by dairy in my diet since I BF, and dairy is a big part of my diet. I never cut it out to see what would happen, since we've been keeping his skin pretty good. When I give DS yogurt, he spits up a lot and his stools are very loose, but he doesn't have that when I give him cheese. So long story short, we are a maybe on dairy.
Yes. He breaks out in while-body hives when he has plum organics puffs. There is no family history of allergies, so this surprised us. We're afraid to try new foods now since we don't have an epi-pen and don't know what he's reacting to. (we took him to an allergist, but that was a complete waste of time).
My niece can't eat PB so we are holding off on nuts. That is the first allergy on my side of the family. DH's side has the eczema, grr. I wish LO didn't have it.
We gave her kiwi the other day and her face got all red and bumpy, but I think it was more from the acid than an allergy. Even so, we are not going to give kiwi again soon. We have sort of held off on other acidic foods (tomatoes, citrus).
This is new territory for me since I am not allergic to anything.
