Who's started shopping for their outfit(s)? The loser fashionista in me has already completed my baby shower outfits (dress, shoes, jewelry) and I want to see links to everyone else's dresses!  Share them if you've got 'em!

    I don't have my dress planned, but I am doing two photo sessions soon (one for DH and I's first anniversary in June and our maternity session in July) and I have been trying to figure out what to wear for those and for my shower. I'm glad I'm not the only one that plans outfits out!

    We are having my baby shower kind of early (in June) since so many of our friends and family have vacation plans during the summer, I have classes, and of course b/c I would rather not be super miserable in the insane end of summer heat.  So, I have also already picked out my dress - although I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will fit in a month.  I'm starting to get really excited though, it looks like loved ones are already getting us things off our registry :)  I feel better that I am not the only one planning outfits :)

    I'll probably decide the day of what to wear.  I'm of the mind set that it's for one day and doesn't have to be a big deal. 

    Every time I attempt to plan an outfit in advance I get to the day of and change my mind 8 times anyway.  Oh well.

    I've started searching for dresses but can't find one that I love enough for the shower.  I am hoping that more colorful dresses will come out for summer.  I'd love to find something bright colored, chiffon and flowy that won't cost more than $150.  Harley, what are you wearing?

    I bought a couple of Old Navy Maternity dresses back in first tri, and one is a simple black short-sleeved cowl neck dress. The other is a blue and red patterned floral dress.

    I'm thinking for my shower, which will be at the end of August (and it's being held at my house), I'll just wear the black dress and punch it up a little with a cobalt blue cardigan and some pretty jewelry and a pair of cute sandals/flip-flops.

    That 3rd dress is really cute!  I think the first 2 are way too tight.  I don't personally like tight maternity clothes--I think they feel yucky and look really uncomfortable on others.  That third one is interesting and in that color would be fantastic for pictures!

    I just ordered this today for my work shower which is in three weeks- kind of early but I teach and everyone wanted to get it in before the end of the school year.  Plus one of the co-hosts is due June 12.  I might wear it for my friends/family shower since there won't be any overlap.  I'm thinking yellow sandals.

    My shower is the last week of July, so I'm waiting to shop to see how big I am and what actually flatters my bump at that point.  Also, my boobs are getting ridiculously big and I'm not sure what will modestly cover them at that point!

    Hi all,

     I started to look but am realizing that most places do not make maternity in petite sizes...grrrr..... I am 5'0 so dresses are hard to buy even before this.  I think I will prob have to wait until right before and just buy a petite non mat dress???  Unless anyone has recommendation of where to look....I would really appreciate it.
