This is the first time I've done this so bear with me.
Let's say I am pregnant, for s&g's. Would it it be possible for the test to be positive all the way through as opposed to becoming negative and then positive again?
I ask because I am 8dpt and I'm still testing positive. Not dark and definitely lighter than the past few days but no squinting is required and there's no doubt there's a second line. Compared to yesterdays test, it looks exactly the same.
I just want to so badly believe it's real but I know that it's probably just the trigger hanging around. Especially since there's no way I could be getting a "real" BFP only 7dpiui.
Then I keep getting night sweats and insane thirst (I had to get up in the middle of the night last night to chug down an entire cold bottle of water, my mouth was soooo dry!) which is exactly what I got when I was pregnant with my son. But then again, it could all be just a coincidence or result of the progesterone.
The 9th can't get here soon enough.![]()
Re: Testing the trigger out question.
Yep!! Mine was. I never got a negative test. Just stayed positive all the way through beta. Good luck!
It's definitely possible (to never see a negative between trigger and real BFP) if the trigger stays in your system long enough. My Ovidrel (250) was gone at 8 days with my first IUI but was barely visible at 6; I have heard others say their same dose wasn't gone until 12.
FWIW, with this IUI I got my BFP 9 days after my B2B IUI, but it was dark enough that I'm pretty certain I would have seen it if I had tested 2 days earlier as well at 7dpo. Not trying to give false hope, but hopefully your line just gets darker over the next few days. At least you know that if it does go away, it still might come back!
Edited - I completely mistyped the second part, reread my answer lol.

Aah, ok, so it is possible. Good to know.
Jesse&Jeremy-Whoa, I wasn't aware it could stay past 10dpt but thanks for letting me know about your experience. When I was pregnant with my son, I tested at 11dpt and got a BFN then a BFP 2 days later so I would think this time it would also be out by 11 days but then again, I'm sure every cycle is different.
Looks like I have no choice but to keep testing!
Thanks for your responses girls!
