hypnobirthing?

I was wondering if anyone tryed it and how it was for them? And if anyone took the class to help prepare them more? ive been reading about it and looking things up online im very interested in it and want to try it but my closest class to me is 6 hours away so is it still possible to try it without out the class?

    Maybe you could Skype into a class? I read the book and have been practicing at home, but my class has made all the difference in the way I understand things and the way DH knows to support me. Good luck!

    Thanks ill look into that I know the class would help so much more then just reading about it so hopefully I could skype or something

    I did the Hypnobabies home course study and would highly recommend it. You can have it sent to you and practice in the comfort of your own home. I think that is a plus because it allows you to envision how you will labor at home.

    O ok that would be way better to do at home then with everyone else do you just got to the website and order it? Im.diffently going to look into that thanks

    I did Hypnobirthing and thought it was amazing, I really had such a positive experience.  The class really was invaluable to me.  I think pp brings up a good point about possibly skyping.

    I did the Hypnobabies home study class and really liked it (and it helped quite a bit, even with a 3 day labor/induction).

    I did the hypnobabies home study course and thought it was great. My daughter is almost two and I still use the techniques to help me with sleep. Good luck!

    I just had my last hypnobirthing class last night.  I LOVED it.  I obviously haven't put it into practice yet, but I feel excited to have my baby (naturally) because of it.  I really feel like I needed a class with an instructor, and she helped me a lot.  I ditto PP about finding out about Skype.  I find instructors pretty willing to help out - mine gave me her cell number when my peri was thinking about inducing me early so that she could do the fear-releasing exercise with me if I didn't make it to that class.
