DH is nesting?

So my DH works third shift and is usually asleep during the day while I am at work but this week he managed to get 5 days in a row off (how he did that I have no idea). So he is actually awake during the day. Well the last 2 days I have come home from work to find him washing and folding baby clothes, putting together all the baby items, organizing toys, books, ect. Is this normal for DH to NEST? My instinct to nest has not kicked in at all and now that DH has kicked into full nesting mode it's making me really nervous!!!

    I think that's pretty awesome. I wish my H would do that stuff!

    I have read somewhere that attentive spouses will nest in their own way.  However this is just wow.  He gets to be King of the Day in my book.

    My H is currently a SAHD while I work and I hit nesting mode last week. House has been looking great. I get a bit annoyed because my H is a typical guy and will barely do any house cleaning (which is bologna considering he's a SAHD, he SHOULD clean). Anywho, I come home from work every day with the mindset that I need to clean which I'm okay with. Yesterday I came home to all the dishes being scrubbed, garbage taken out and lots of much needed household chores that I can't do being finished. I asked him if he was feeling okay. His reply? 'I dunno, just had a huge burst of energy and wanted to get it done.' He never nested with our first so it's super cool to experience. I hope it wasn't a one day thing. ;)

    That is awesome!

    My DH has been nesting for about a month now but definitely in his own way. He's been painting all of our doors and trim (currently wood to white), building a hope chest for our blankets and for doggie to sleep on at the end of our bed, selling recording equipment that he hasn't used in a year, and organizing like crazy! I keep telling him LO is coming early and he says LO can't because he needs to get his to do list done lol. So sweet!

    My DH has totally shocked me. He is usually very lazy and doesnt take anything upon himself to do. In April he re-tiled the bathroom, cleaned out the garage, stained the deck, painted baby room and I am sure there are things I am forgetting. Not sure if this is normal but I think its the most wonderful thing!

    I wish mine would nest! I was so excited to get the baby's room organized, and I was hoping he would help with it, but he said "it's not really my thing." Kinda hurt my feelings at the time, but looking back, it's probably a good thing as I tend to be a little picky with how I want things organized! He was excited to help me put together the crib though, so I guess I haven't completely missed out!

    Mine nested last time.  He had the bathroom redone, new carpet put in,  the nursey done, was constantly cleaning towards the end.  Not so much this time and I never nested LOL
