More progress this time than with DD!

I had an unplanned c/s due to fetal distress at 41weeks +1day with DD in 2009. My Dr told me right after that I would bo a good candidate for VBAC as I didn't actually even labour at all - as long as I waited a year to get pregnant again. However, due to the distress that DD went into, they won't let me go over my due date much this time. So I am on a deadline for a VBAC. With DD I never softened, dilated, had braxton hicks or anything.

Today was my 38 week appointment (37.5) and my cervix is shortening and anterior. And the Dr could feel/touch the head while doing the internal and said baby has dropped into my pelvis (on Friday the head was still floating). I am so excited to be getting somewhere this time. She said she expects some dilation by my next appointment, and then she can do a stretch and sweep. I am so excited. I am going to garden and walk my way into labour! Dr said to keep active to help with putting pressure on cervix, instead of sitting.
