I started using myfitnesspal on my iphone to track my calories in an effort to shed the twenty pounds left to lose and according to them I should be having around 1400 a day, that isn't including the extra 500 you are supposed to have while breastfeeding.
Today I had a nature valley fiber bar (busy morning!), some leftover homemade lettuce wraps for lunch, a half cup of pineapple for snack, two scrambled eggs and a piece of toast for dinner and I was at 850ish calories for the whole day. I just had a bowl of cereal with some milk to try to up my calories more; but I'm not sure what else to do? Where am I supposed to squeeze in the extra nearly 1000 calories??
Also, I've always had a great supply of milk, I don't want that to change. I wasn't starving today either. I've never really counted calories before; the weight sort of fell off with the other two but hasn't come off as easily with this one so I thought counting might help. But yicks- its not like I'm coming in two or three hundred calories below...

I would get more healthy carbs in there. Brown rice, multi grain pasta, oatmeal.
A lot of people underestimate "good" carbs. This is good fuel.
You need more protein too.
I usually try to plan out my day in advance so I dont run into this problem. So if by like 3pm I've only had 500 cal or, amd I need another 1300, I'll pick snacks for the rest of the day based on that.
Maybe just try planning out, so its not 10pm and you need to find tons more calorie to eat?
