Activities throughout day?

So I'm feeling like I need help with ideas of new things to do with DD. I try and play, interact and talk with her as much as I can, but I also feel like we do the same things over and over. I work FT, so DH and I are only home with her for about 4 hours before she goes to bed each night, so I want to make the most of this time. The weather here is not great yet, so we're stuck inside. We read, listen to music, dance, play with toys, play in the kitchen, play in the mirrors, "walk" around, and point out things (well I point them out at this point and she laughs at me Smile

). Any other ideas for indoor activities to keep her engaged and learning? I sometimes feel bad when I don't talk to her for a minute, but I also know independent learning is huge at this age as well. TIA for any ideas and input!

I wouldn't worry too much. Your interacting with her and that's the important part. I SAH right now so we have playtime and I also give her independent play time (which doesn't last long...). I also have her "help" me fold laundry, put things away and do other chores. I use that time to talk / sing to her and try to explain what I"m doing.
