DH & my 3rd wedding anniversary is on May 9 & my plan is to give him a year's worth of dates. That way, we are guaranteed at least 1 date a month. They should all be fairly cheap & I would like most to be things that would be easy to bring LO along.. not sure how much I'm gonna want to leave her, especially for the 1st few months.
Here's what I have so far:
May- meet & greet with our daughter (got him a Dad T-shirt & a few giftcards for Starbucks, etc. around the hospital)
June- 1st Father's Day Feast (giftcard to his favorite restaurant, we can either eat in or get carry- out)
July- 4th picnic & fireworks (giftcard for picnic food & we will go to the local firework show to set-up & watch)
August- Icecream Date & drive through the country
September- his birthday (got a giftcard to a nice restaurant)
October- Pumpkin Patch & Carving. Figured we could watch scary movies once LO is in bed
November-
December- There is supposed to be a big meteor shower, figured we could watch it together under a blanket with snacks & wine
January- ice skating
February-
March-
April-
I need more ideas, ladies! & I'm not absolutely set on what I have so far. I don't want it to be going out to eat every time. Would like to have all of this set-up in the next couple of days, since at this point LO could come any day now
Re: NBR- gift help
Are there any parades where you live? Ie, St. Patrick's Day or some other sort of festival?
Also, are there are Art and Music Festivals or Children's Fairs near where you live?
Also, is your DH into any sports or sports teams? Maybe having a Game Day where you go to a game or a family friendly sports bar?

I don't know if you'll want to make the drive into atlanta but the CNN tour is SUPER fun. Coke museum is always fun as is the aquarium. I think the zoo sucks personally but I now live by one of the best zoos in the country so I'm biased.
You're making me rack my brain for stuff that we used to go to when I lived just outside of ATL.
You might be able to make Centennial work next April depending on what the weather does, especially with LO, I bet she'd have a BLAST.
For November you could do something that you are thankful for about him like if he is handy around the house, you could get him a Lowes card or something and get a gift card to a restaurant near it.
For February you could put a note in it that says "Your Turn"
since he might want to plan something for you.
For March or April you could plan a picnic depending on the weather where you are.
Other ideas: bowling or putt putt (even if you aren't good at them it can be fun)...an ITunes gift card, an hour massage (given by you)...a coupon for cleaning his car (by you or professionally)
Hope he loves it!
Those are some great ideas girls! Thank-you. & Baby Dawson, I think Feb would be a perfect time for a "your turn" note, as that is my birthday month
