Someone posted the link to Avery's Bucket list and blog awhile back on here. I know I have been following the blog and didn't know how many others have. Just saw on CNN that she passed away. So sad for her and her parents, but glad their story was seen by so many.

Ugh. Breaks my heart. I can't even imagine. Makes me feel bad for every time I have complained about K being fussy and hard to deal with on occasion. I'd rather her be fussy and hard to deal with than gone. Sad

I just saw this on FB. I had to go to the bathroom because I was crying here at work. I don't think it helps much that my DD and her share the same name. My heart breaks for that family. I love the picture on her blog that was taken by her father 15 - 20 mins before her lung collapsed. Okay... I am going now, starting to tear up again.

DH just walked over to me about 1/2 and hour ago with tears in his eyes and just handed me the iPad. I sobbed reading the article about her passing and just cannot fathom what those parents are going through. Makes me feel incredibly guilty when I get frustrated with E b/c she is impossible to change/get dressed. Really puts things in perspective.

I just saw the update on FB and it took my breath away. I gasped. How could that be? And to look at the picture they took 20 mins earlier? Just wow...so tragic.
