Ok, I know my title is horrible for this post. I have no idea what it is called though. When my sister had her c/s she had this tube thing she had to breath into every so often after her c/s. They said this would help her from getting sick after. I didn't have that after my c/s last time and got a HORRIBLE cough that not only kept me up at all night for weeks, it hurt like hell to cough after surgery. Did you have one of those tube things? Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Re: Csection and breathing tube thing?
You rock for just telling me what it is called! I tried looking it up and couldn't find anything! Thanks

Interesting. Did you have general ansasthesia? I have never seen it used in someone that was young, healthy, could get up right away, and did not have GA.
I stood several hours after surgery and walked the next morning (my son was born at 6:47pm) so I think if you are moving and breathing well, it's not really needed.
