My first experience with a new baby (not mine..obviously)

Today I had my first experience with a very new baby...like 4 weeks old.  And I thought I was doing pretty well with this whole thing.  I didn't think I was even that sensitive about babies.  But I was in the office and the lady who has the studio office next door just had a boy.  It's not like I didn't know it was going to happen because she's also my DD's dance teacher.  But, I just figured I wouldn't see the baby before dance was over for the summer.  Today she brought him in and asked if my boss would watch him for a little bit while she taught a short class.

He was crying, normal baby crying, because babies do that...but it was like sensory over load for me.  I started shaking, and sweating and then crying.  It was the worst 30 minutes of my life.  I wanted to post here earlier for some support but I couldn't even pull it together long enough to type a coherent thought.  I ended up leaving work early.  But, just knowing you ladies would be here for me at the end of the day helped.

I missed you ladies today. Here's some whole wheat chocolate chip cookies for listening..my fave.

    ((hugs)) I am so sorry.  Being around babies is definitely not easy.

    TTC since 4/28/07
    Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
    BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
    Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.

    June '13 Decided to go the adoption route!

    I'm so sorry you had such a tough day.  It's the worst when it just comes at you from left field like that (especially while at work).  Big ((hugs)) to you tonight.

    Oh, man.  I'm so sorry that happened. :(  It's definitely tough to be blindsided by babies and pregnant mommas.  Thank goodness we have our safe haven here.  I hope you have a better tomorrow!
