It's only May 1, and May Ladies are exploding with babies!

I lurk on the May board every once and awhile, as I am due June 2, and popped on today to see what was up.  WELL!  It's only May 1, and sooo many May ladies have had their little ones already!  

Makes it a little bit more real to think we are just a month behind, and will probably be having a few June ladies of our own switching to May Mommies soon!  Not to mention a few of our own who have had April babies!

 

It's getting exciting, guys!

    My friend at work who was due May 7th had her baby yesterday.  She's exactly 5 weeks ahead of me.  That made it feel VERY very real.  Meep!

    Had to giggle at "exploding with babies."  I'm due June 3rd, but I'm figuring he'll want to make an early appearance.  I'm trying not to freak out since I've managed to be so calm throughout this pregnancy.

    I already know that I'll be a May Momma. The doctor won't let me go past 39 weeks with GD which puts me at the last week of May at the very latest.

    Its really fun knowing I'm in my birth month now even though I'm technically due June 2nd!

    Me too (I have GD too).  My repeat c-section is scheduled for May 30th!

    No reason, just my own thinking.  And as my intuition has been wrong about everything else during this pregnancy, I don't know why I keep paying attention to "feelings." :)

    Eek that's tight.  I think the only way to really know this is if you have some type of medical condition (GD, pre-e) and they will schedule you.   Or if you have already had a weakened cervix or some other sign of impending labor.

    Just remember, the average pregnancy is actually closer to 41 weeks....not 40.

    I keep wondering if I'm going to be early (hee, "explode"), but its only because my due date based on last cycle is completely different from the estimated due date they came to on the first dating ultrasound they did with me all those months ago... but I keep reminding myself that the average pregnancy is over 40 wks as someone above said (isn't it something like 40 wks, 5 days?), so if the dating on the ultrasound was actually correct, I've still got some time to go.

     Haha, I'll likely be one of those.  I'm due June 29th.  The only thing I have to go on is the fact that my own mother never went into labor naturally, both my brother and I were induced.  I was 15 days late.  I'm pretty much planning on a July baby.

    OB said she'll induce me at 37 weeks if I don't pop by then, so I don't think I'll see June either. Always a possibility I guess, but it's not my gut feeling.

    Same for me. My doctor is going by the date of my last period, so my due date is June 3rd. But the ultra sound says my due date is May 29th. Who knows, I just hope it isn't too early because I want the whole summer off!! Selfish I know!

    I'm hoping he comes sooner rather than later because there will be a mutiny at work if i don't stop with the crankiness... I cant help it.

    My office mate is due 5 weeks before me and went into labor and delivery over the weekend (they sent her home) but now I KNOW I'm on the home stretch.
