Anyone else getting nauseated by baby's kicks?

I've been feeling mildly nauseated when baby is moving/kicking the last couple days- not necessarily after a meal either, can be at any times. Also not with all kicks, and not horrible, just a bit of a queasy feeling.

Curious how typical this is. I'm thinking it's just a sign she's got less room in there, and pushing more on my organs with movements?

  • I have found that lately I am a lot more nauseous. Especially during and after any Braxton Hicks. I'm assuming the size of baby and the tightening of the stomach muscles is pushing on the organs and thus causing the nausea like you think. It doesn't matter if I have an empty stomach or a full one, I still feel it and it's no fun. I never had it with my first but am definitely experiencing it with this baby. It's totally normal.

  • My baby likes to flip and roll around in there like crazy, and it definitely makes me nauseous when he's having a super active day.

  • Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I notice it most when the movements & activity level are high.

They warned me about general nausea and a possible return of monring sickness in 3rd trimester, but they didn't really mention anything about the kicks & rolling causing nausea, lol.
