told my boss yesterday
Not entirely sure why this warrants its own post, but whatev.
She was excited! And very supportive, as I knew she would be (she has two young boys). She asked how I felt about my job, given that I have to travel so much. I wasn't ready to answer the question, so I just told her it's been on my mind and after the holidays was going to think more about it. She just told me that with children and careers, you just have to do what's right for you.
In related news, we're telling my parents and grandma TONIGHT!!! We've changed our course a little - we got prints made of Monday's u/s, and we put them in greeting cards that have the photo window on the front. In the inside, I wrote "Happy St. Nick's Day, Grandma and Grandpa! I can't wait to meet you in June! Love, Baby F"

I'm glad that everything went well with telling your boss.
I am soooooo excited for you to tell your parents tonight! I get goosebumps just thinking about it. It brings me back to almost a year ago when we told our parents. This may have already been discussed but have you checked youtube at all and searched surprise pregnancy or things like that...that is all I could do before we told our parents. The reactions of some made me cry.
I can't wait to hear how it goes!!!!!

YAY!! That is so exciting. I remember telling my extended family over thanksgiving last year, and it was a great memory.
