I have a name list in my siggy. Top name for a boy is Graydon after DH's grandfather. Top girl name is Cristiana (for now, I go back and forth on all my girl names which one I like the best).
The only thing I'm settled on right now is that I want Paul for a boy's middle name (in honor of my grandfather). I used to have a few girl names in mind but my preferences have changed over the last couple years. I really like Alexa/Alexis, but DH's brother's name is Alex so that might be kinda weird.

Girls: Eleanor Dianne (Eleanor is the name of the street my dad grew up on and my grandparents lived until I was in high school, but I do like the name and would not otherwise name my daughter after a road, & Dianne is MIL middle name)
or Sandra Alison (Dh likes Sandra and Alison is my sisters name).
Boys: Oliver Perry (aka OP, dh calls his grandpa op, so I thought it would be fun to honor him that way, plus Perry is dh's middle name and his grandpa's. I just like Oliver)
or Benjamin Perry

I'm annoyed that Emma has become so popular in the last 5-10 years. It's been my female name of choice since I was a little girl myself, and my husband loves it as well.

We are not at all decided. We have tossed around ideas, but I am super indecisive and like a lot of different styles, but haven't found anything I am in *love* with at this point. DH suggested Victor the other day and it is growing on me. He really likes it, and I think I could get behind it. Other names we have tossed around: Leo, Pippa, Veda......
I am kind of dreading the whole naming thing.....it will NOT be easy for us.

I love love the name Oliver too! (So I named my son that!) It's becoming slightly more popular, but we've only met two other little boys named it since we've had him. Plus I love the nick name Ollie.
I also love the name dominic. Dh is okay with it, however he brought up that Dominic and Isabella are more italian names and we are not italian. Does that really matter anymore?

I don't think it matters at all, but that's just me:-)

Ditto. I don't think that matters until it's extreme. e.g. A White American naming their kid something DISTINCTLY Chinese or Middle Eastern, for example - with no particular reason for doing so.
I have a list of hundreds of names. The two we would use next are Matilda and Luca.

For a boy, Lincoln Albert (MN after my paternal grandfather, its also my dad's MN). I'm stuck on a girl name, but girls are few and far between in DH's family, so I'm not overly concerned.
After dh's grandmother passed aways we decided to name our dd Margaret (Maggie) Grace. I know our ds name will be Charles, but we haven't figured out a middle name.

I LOVE Temperance! I think the old-tyme names are pretty. Would you have a nickname for her?
When I was in my teens I had a good friend name Teagan and have loved that name ever since. I'm also a huge fan of Reagan (have it our on girl's name list as well. )
For now we both agree on Callen Michael for a boy (Michael is my husband's first name), and Reagan Ellen for a girl. (Ellen is a family name).
I also like Elise for a girl but my husband hasn't warmed up to it yet.
Thank you! and yes - it would be Tempe (Temp-ie). I think the nn is cute and easy, and Temperance is a strong name for a grown woman.
I don't think it matters at all, but that's just me:-)
Ditto. I don't think that matters until it's extreme. e.g. A White American naming their kid something DISTINCTLY Chinese or Middle Eastern, for example - with no particular reason for doing so.
