Natural and/or Non-Toxic Tile Grout Cleaner?

Got any tried and true recipes or product recs?  The grout on my kitchen floor is beyond nasty, and the steam mop just isn't cutting it.  TIA!

  • Have you tried a baking soda paste?

  • I've had success with fresh lemon juice and vinegar.  Let it sit.  Come back 15 - 20 minutes later, sprinkle baking soda, splash more vinegar and scrub with a stiff brush.
  • I'm going to have to try this one...its been too long since I've cleaned the tile grout.

This!  There was a tub scrub on Pinterest from Martha Stewart's website that was a baking soda paste, and it worked great.

I use baking soda mixed into a paste with full strength peroxide and it gets pretty much every stain out of every surface.  But, as a disclaimer, all of my crappy apartment tile and counter work is white.  I would test it on a small spot of any other color if I were you.  Also, don't use it on natural stone.
