I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
Thanks, I added PGD
I did PGD for my first IVF. I had a m/c at 18 weeks prior to that then no luck getting pregnant on my own for a year. I think my RE had an idea something was wrong but we aren't known carriers. Unfortunately all my embryo's came back with major chromosonal abnormalities and there was nothing to transfer. It made our decision to use DE very easy. I think most people find that at least a few are usable. The biggest concern is that you have to produce ALOT of eggs b/c many embies won't survive the biopsy's.
My RE did a process where they biopsied 5 day embies and then froze them for transfer the following month. I had a friend whose RE did a 3 day biopsy and then transferred at day 5. She never made it to the PGD b/c her embies weren't surviving at day 3 so they just transferred them...and one made it!
