My sister surprised me today and ordered me 19 sunbaby diapers with liners. Im just curious as to what I should have for NB and what to have for when he gets older. What did you have? Also what about a wetbag, what do you have?
For me, the easiest thing to use for NB stage is prefolds, of which I have 30, and about 6 size 1 Thirsties Duo Wraps. I use a pail liner in a trash can, but for the diaper bag I have a few different wet bags. I like the Bummis the best as far as functionality.

I'm going to be probably be the odd man out who says she didn't like prefolds. I relied heavily on fitted diapers for the NB stage. Because of the gathered legs, I went through far fewer covers, and even though I had 6 that would fit at anyone time, I could easily make it through a day just rotating between 2 covers. The Thirsties XS covers are a great sized option that work until about 12 lbs., but the Thirsties Duo covers will last until 18 lbs but be a bit bulky at first. Really - any cover with leg gussets will work just fine.
Ditto to pp on the FAQs. : )

LO didn't like prefolds and we didn't have any fitteds (or money to buy a stash of fitteds), so we did sposies for the first 3 weeks until she fit into her OS pockets. The next time around, I'd like to get some fitteds and GMD workhorses - I would count on going through 12-15 diapers/day with a nb, so a total of at least 30 diapers would be ideal.
I would go to Alva baby and order wet bags and changing mats. I am extremely happy with the quality AND the price. The only bummer is that they take a month to get here. Oh, get two wet bags and two pail liners. That way you can use one and wash one at the same time.
If the house ain't burned down and the baby's fed it was a successful day.
