Blood Pressure Question

My blood pressure is normally around 100/70 or below (90/60) whenever I'm tested at the OB's (taken manaully). Yesterday I went into a convenience care clinic in CVS for a sinus infection and the cuff registered 130/86. That's a huge jump for me!

I've got an OB appointment Thursday, but is this something I should be concerned about?

I don't think I have any swelling. I haven't been taking any new medication except Tylenol PM at night. I might be getting stressed - not sure... I tend to roll with the punches mainly, but there's a lot piling on in these last four weeks, too.

    That is a big jump for you.  Did you take it more than once at CVS?  Sometimes if you sit there and take it 3 times in a row, it will get lower every time (since you've probably been walking around the store and it could be slightly high because of that activity).  Are you having any headaches or rib pain?  If I was you, I would probably go back and take it again today and if it's still high, I would call my OB and see what they say.  If they are concerned, they will tell you to come in before your appointment.  If they aren't, they'll say they will see you Thursday.  Can't hurt to take it again and call if it's high again.  At least, in my opinion.

    I have been having rib pain, but to me it feels like the baby is sitting high and putting pressure under my rib cage - mostly on my right side.
