  The last 2 Mother's Days I've gotten my Kitchenaid mixer and a Kindle. This year I told DH I want to go to a photographer my friend uses for nice family pics outside (usually we just do JCPenney - this is much more expensive). Or, as PPs have suggested, a piece of Mother's jewelry. I'm going to be getting stacking rings with the girls' birthstones.
