Two random funny things

First, when Sophie is almost asleep, she'll do this weird fast breathing: in-out-in-out. It only takes a second, but it's strange, like panting almost. Just now (she's falling asleep in my arms) I realized that it sounds like the "chicka-chicka" from that Yello song "Oh Yeah."

Second, I got a can of Coke today. We were about to settle on the couch when I realized I wanted it, but it was still in the diaper bag. As I rocked her and walked across the room to get it, I reassured Sophie that, "we'll be back on the couch in just a minute, sweetie - Mama needs her drink." Then I laughed because I realized how bad that would sound to anyone else listening.
