IVF and pregnancy test question

We just had our first IVF (after many many unsuccessful IUIs).  I took a pregnancy test today, and it was positive.  I wondered if I could get a positive result due to the hormone pills I am taking (Estrace and Endrometrin).  My blood test is on Friday.

    So, the drugs you are on now would not produce a false positive pregnancy test, but the HCG trigger shot you took prior to the egg retrieval could.   The hcg from the trigger usually stays in your system 7-10 days.   How many days has it been since you triggered?
