We survived the 1st birthday...

Everything went well. Weather was on the cool side so the party moved indoors. Food was good (had too much), company was nice to see, hubby helped out. One thing I learned was the timing of the party was in the middle of a normal nap time (tried to plan the nap for before the party and it didn't go well), I think the party was too long. She hung in there right up to the time of the cake and then she had a meltdown. I took her upstairs to nurse and pretty much after that the guests filed out.........
