I'm having mine on Thursday. I'm assuming it's an abdominal ultrasound...is it a 3d ultrasound or regular? I'm also assuming it's like the "fancier" ultrasound that I had done for 1st trimester with my regular OB..."fancier" as in there's a screen up on the wall and they turn out the light so you can watch....as opposed to the less fancier version of the mobile ultrasound machine.

How long did your scan take?

Re: NT scan- what to expect
Mine was an abdominal u/s. It was done at the MFM dept of the hospital, and yes, they did have a TV screen on the wall so we could see easily. Not 3D though.
Our LO was cooperative so it only took the tech 10 minutes from start to finish. However, the MFM doctor came in afterwards and she decided to re-do the whole scan and measurements herself, so that took another 15 minutes. Not complaining though - got to see our LO twice!
Apart from the scan, I had some Qs regarding all the screening tests for the doctor. And after that, i had to get labs drawn as part of the screen. So altogether, the entire thing took 45-50 minutes. I've heard that sometimes it can take up to 30-45 minutes to do the NT scan depending on the baby's position...

I had a 3D and 4D scans at my NT scan last time and of course the regular one.
Scan first then blood work and for me a visit with the OB after wards.
