Are these numbers good? Re: Donor

So, we got our first status report today on our donor who started stimming sometime last week.

Estrogen= 713

"Many small follicles"

2 measurable follicles- 12mm and 14mm

Our nurse said she's right on track, but I don't really know what those numbers mean.  Do they sound good to you?

Re: Are these numbers good? Re: Donor

  • i was never told my estrogen levels, but i know when i was stimming they told me i was best to go "slow and steady." i ended up stimming for 12 days, but i got 23 eggs, which led to 15 embryos.  so i believe that slow and steady works!

  • my drs never really told me my levels - if something was too high they would let me know.  but in general they stimmed me slow and steady and I had between 25 and 30 eggs with each fresh cycle.  I stimmed between 11 and 15 days i believe for each cycle.  I was interesting because I wouldn't have ANYTHING measurable until around 10, 11 days and then BAM! lots of follies.  But everyone is different, that's what makes this so difficult.  Just trust that the dr had a good reign on what's going on with your donor!!

    I'm trying to follow all your updates - i'm really rooting for you babe!!!

  • This sounds great and very similiar to mine this morning.  I had one measurable at 14 and many many other smaller ones.  Was told I was doing beautifully due to my "young" age. So I guess I had more follies than they normally see. (for the record i'm not that young in my 30's so I thought it was a funny comment) So I think she is on track.  Best of luck.
    TTC since 2008, our little miracle arrived July 2013!
