My exterior doors are levers so DS2 is constantly escaping. I tried buying one of the childproof lever handles but it does not work on my woors. Hoping there is some other alternative way to keep my kids inside but to be able to get in from the outside. Please tell me something exists!!!!!

Ds can't reach our locks yet but we are planning to put chain locks or the slide bars towards the top of the door when he can reach the locks. Good luck!

I think the easiest/cheapest would be to add a chain lock up top, although that won't allow someone to get in from outside. If you want someone to get in from outside you may need to put a regular lock/deadbolt up high on the door. I can't imagine another solution, although that means putting holes in the door and frame to install it, so it's a very permanent fix.
