If you have a D&C do your harmone levels automatically go back to normal?

I'm 5 weeks post D&C and awaiting some sort of AF and all I had today was some spotting. Hope its a sign of something.

They didn't check my betas after my d&c, but it took me 45 days to get my period. Everyone is different. Some people get back to normal right away, and others take months. Good luck.

At about 4 weeks after my d&c, I a had a positive pregnancy test. at first, my ob thought I was pregnant again, but the tests never got darker, I started to bleed, and then my betas were zero, so we are choosing to believe it was from the lost pregnancy. My OB thought it was a little strange to still have hcg enough to have a positive pregnancy test, but said it wasn't impossible.

My period, the bleeding I just spoke of, started at exactly 5 weeks post d&c.

I'm not sure about HCG as I didn't track it down to zero. I got my period after 5 weeks though.

My other hormones... that's a different story, It took 3 cycles for them to somewhat regulate. I'm on my 4th now (with another loss in between). They finally seem to be getting somewhere normal, though my cycles are still 6 days longer than they were before my first pregnancy.

On 3/22 when my mm/c was discovered my hcg was 38,000 and I should have been around 9 weeks. I had my final d&c on 4/9, my hcg was 52 on 4/17, and I just did another draw today. Since I had to have three d&cs we are going to draw until the hcg is 0.
