Is Mayo safe?? What about the raw egg?

Just wondering if Mayo is safe to eat? I have been craving Egg salad sandwiches LOL

I had one and then realized that there is egg yolk in mayo or even some salad dressings( Colelsaw).

Just wondering about this

    It's made with pasteurized eggs, unless it's homemade.

    If it's from a name brand company (like Hellmann's or Kraft) the eggs are pastaruized and therefor safe. You can always call to confirm... which I've done :)

    Most mayo you get here in the states comes from pasturized eggs and therefore are safe to eat.
