Can't wait til Friday!
Friday is officially my last day of work. I was out on vacation all last week and when I came in today the admin who is suppose to back me up during my maternity leave, had a huge meltdown and was crying about how hard it was last week. She ended up going home at noon today because she is just too overwhelmed.
She didnt do any of the reports that I do for my boss every week. We work in sales and I gave her job aids with step by step instructions she said she didnt know. She didnt open a single email from me with info on what to do etc. This was suppose to be a trial run so this week I could help her with any questions etc.
Well I am now trying to catch up on everything from last week. This is going to be a fun 12 weeks I am out.

This exactly, the last thing you need while on leave is to stress that the person covering you is incompetent!!
The funny thing to me is she was hired in September as the 2nd admin for the sales group we each report to a Senior Sales Manager. I was the only admin for 3 years.
I found out I was PG in September and they said oh this will be good you will have plenty of time to train her. I have been working with her since, she always acts like she is so busy and doesnt have time to learn anything. Her boss is getting really annoyed.
I feel really bad for my boss, I asked about 100 times are you sure you dont want me to get a temp and they said no temp cause I did it for 3 years she should be able to handle it for 12 weeks.
She has already started to upset all the sales managers reporting to our bosses telling them things are going to change while I am gone for 12 weeks she does not have time to be helping them out etc.
