movements are going lower and lower

My baby's movements have always been in the middle of my belly. Now I'm starting to feel them much lower, almost down near my pubic bone. My belly hasn't dropped to that level but the movements have. It's hard to imagine that the movements are being felt there because there's no belly there, it's flat so where does he have the room? Does this maybe mean that my belly will drop soon or that he's just starting to get more into position?

    It's amazing the wing span on these little 4lbers.  I get punches that hit straight down into my crotch, while getting kicked up in the ribs.  DD never dropped and I had kicking and punching all over the place.  So, I'm not sure it's really related.

    My little gals movements have always been on the top of my belly but have dropped to the middle lately. I think it is from her dropping some though in my case. I'm not sure what it means for you, but hopefully getting into position!
