Please help as I am new to taking supplements to increase my supply. What is the best dosage to take to increase my supply? On kellymom, it says less than 6 capsules will not have an effect on milk. But on the bottle of fenugreek that I bought today (610 mg), it says to take 1-2 capsules daily. So should I be taking 2 capsules 3 times a day (total of 6/day) to help increase my supply? Or should I start off slow and increase the number of pills I take after a couple days?
Also, I bought mother's milk tea. Is that safe to use while on fenugreek? Pls help and thanks for any advice I can get.
Re: fenugreek and mother's milk tea
How bad is your supply problem? If its severe I'd recommend Blessed Thistleor Goats Rue instead of the tea. And lots and lots of nursing of course!

The reason I ask is because pumping is not a good indicator of how much milk you make. You can easily have a full supply and still only pump 0.5 - 1 oz per session. Also, your breasts regulate to the demand of your LO after a while, causing you to feel less full, but you still have the perfect amount for your LO. It'd be miserable to spend months on end engorged!
